CONSIGNMENT
I am so thrilled to be offering this opportunity to women who might not have the time and money to put into the development of their own website.
There are 2 options available for women wishing to sell on this site.

Option 1: CONSIGNMENT SALES
This is a great option for those women who cannot afford to set up their own site,
those who might be more interested in testing the market to see if their items will sell
or to help new business owners develop a customer base.
To sell consignment, each wahm will pay a one time start up fee of $10.00.
This money will go towards the set up of a webpage specifically for you on this site.
I will design a page based on your input, that will host your products.
I will set up all paypal buttons, product descriptions, pictures, etc.
I will be available by phone or email to answer your questions.
You may host as many products as you wish on your page.
You will set the prices for your products.
Please include in the price, my consignment fee.
You would need to include the shipping options you prefer, as well as the cost.
CONSIGNMENT FEES:
Fees are based on the cost of the order total. A lot of sites charge a monthy fee to host your products or you pay a start up of $90 and then a consignment cost of 10% or above plus a flat fee for every transaction, usually at a .99 minimum. My consignment fees are determined on the total of each order but I have kept them very affordable.
Order Total Consignment Fee
$ 1.00 - $30.00 = 10% of subtotal
$30.01 - $40.00 = 12% of subtotal
$40.01 and up = 15% of subtotal
The cap for consignment fees would be 15% per order subtotal.
Once you reached orders $40.01 and over, you would not pay more than that.

FAQ'S
Q: Now that I know what I want to do, how does the site work?
A: Shoppers purchase items directly off the webpage we set up for you. They use the Buy it
Now Paypal buttons to make their purchases and as soon as a payment comes through
for one of your products, you would be notified via PayPal because funds would be
transferred from our site to your PayPal, minus any transaction or consignment fees., 
You communicate with and ship directly to, the consumer.
Q: How do we figure shipping into the order?
A: I am happy to communicate all orders with you as soon as they are received if combined
shipping is necessary. A final invoice will be sent to your customer that includes
shipping for their total order or you may choose, based on the types of items you sell, to
list a few shipping options i.e. 1 item ships for $x.00, 2-4 items ship for $xx.00, etc.
PayPal buttons would be created for each so that customers simply choose their
shipping option at the bottom of each page. Additional PayPal buttons can be added for
insuring packages as well.
Q: What happens if a customer wishes to return an item?
A: If you have a return policy in place, please be aware that all transactions that have been
completed (meaning the customer has paid for their order and the seller has shipped
that order) are not eligible for return of transaction fees, consignment fees, shipping fees
or any other related fees that were agreed upon or incurred between the seller and
hipchickscafe.com. As the seller you must determine your return policy based on that
agreement and ensure that the policy is posted on your page.
Q: Do I need to host my own images?
A: No, at this time I will host them here at hipchickscafe.com.
Q: Do you ever take down my advertising without telling me?
A: Yes, we would only do that if a link is broken and your site is no longer functioning, if
you are hosting your own banner image and the link is no longer working or if your
content is not family friendly. If you notify us that the image is functioning again once
it has been taken down, we will gladly put it up again but it may not be in the location it
was before. We are not held responsible if your links or images are not working and we
reserve the right to remove any pictures, graphics or links to that site. If you were
selling items and your information was removed, we will prorate the time your site
was running based on the advertising you chose. If your items were removed, we
charge an additional set-up fee of $10.00 to get your site up and running again. It is
your responsibility to make sure all of your links and images are functioning properly
if you are hosting them yourself.
Q: Can I list gift certificate buttons for my site?
A: Absolutely! Simply choose which amounts and I am happy to put them on your page.
Q: Can I send you gifs and graphics for my webpage?
A: That would be wonderful! I'd like for every woman's page to be as unique and
interesting as she is. I want her page to be a reflection of her business and personal
taste!! I would welcome your graphics. Please understand that I will personalize your
page as much as I possibly can but if you require an unusually large amount of graphics
or other design to your site, an extended set-up fee of $15.00 may be assessed. If that
becomes necessary, it would not be billed to you without first talking with you so you
can determine if there is something we can do to streamline your page and keep your
costs down. :)
